Maria Eva Orieta was born in Argentina, grew up in Oslo, Norway, and lives now in Los Angeles, California. Orieta has released two albums in Norway: ”Buenos Aires”(Grand Sport Records 2004) and ”Against the view” (Grand Sport Records 2006). Both consists of songs ranging from quiet folk pop to latin rhythms and rock. Orieta plays guitar, piano/keyboads and sings. Both albums have been produced by Øystein Greni, guitarplayer/singer of norwegian powertrio BigBang.
